Amy joined the Lancaster team in July of 2014. She has worked as a health care Administrator since October of 1988. Other than two years in Flagstaff, Arizona, she has served the industry in southeast Nebraska her entire career. Amy is an active member of the Department of Health and Human Services Nursing Home Administrator Board, North Lincoln Business Association, and the Nebraska Health Care Association. She is also a licensed Preceptor for the State of Nebraska, and active on the National Administrator Board. She has a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of South Dakota, and her Master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Bellevue University.
Darcee has over 10 years of experience working in a physician clinic, assisted living, and skilled care setting. She is well versed in the areas of clinic management, patient scheduling, and human relations. Darcee is the liaison for all media and social relations and advertising for Lancaster Rehab. She is a support to the admissions and marketing departments, and is available for on-site walk in and scheduled tours of the campus. Darcee also assists in the coordination of communication and transfer of information needed between health care providers, and leads the customer satisfaction measures on behalf of the campus.
Brianna has been a part of the Lancaster Rehab team since August of 2010 as a charge nurse working on a variety of shifts and neighborhoods. In 2017 she was promoted to the Transition of Care Coordinator for the facility and now serves as the Director of Admissions. In her role she works primarily with the acute care discharge planners ensuring a safe and welcoming transfer to LRC. Brianna enjoys meeting new people and helping to make patients and residents feel at home no matter how long their stay. In her free time she loves spending time with her husband and three children.
Angie Nutter joined the Lancaster Rehabilitation team as the Director of Human Resources in July of 2016. She brings over 10 years of recruiting and human resources experience with her to the Lancaster Rehabilitation team. Angie holds a bachelor degree from Central Missouri State University. She enjoys working in a team environment where the employees are made a priority. Her mission here at Lancaster Rehabilitation is to continue to provide excellent training and support for all staff so that we are able to provide a high level of service to our residents and families. Angie was born and raised here in the Lincoln community. In her spare time she like to spend time with her family, camping and traveling.
Crystal has been a part of the Lancaster family since September of 2014. She serves as the Director of Financial Services. In her role she is responsible for resident billing and financial management. Crystal has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing through SCC. She is also a certified Medicare and Medicaid biller. Family is important to Crystal, and feels in addition to her husband, four children, and six siblings, that the Lancaster team is her extended family.
Nick joined the Lancaster team in February of 2014 as the Director of Food Service. Nick brings with him a wealth of experience in managing in health care, hotel industry, and restaurants including completion of his culinary internship as a Sous Chef at The Food Gallery in Omaha. Nick attended culinary school at Southeast Community College majoring in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, and Dietary Technology. He also received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University. Nick is working on his Long-term Care and Assisted Living Administration certifications, and his five year goal is to acquire an administrative position in the geriatric field.
Kim Nesja joined the team in June of 2015 as the Medical Records Director. She brings with her over 25 years of experience. The passion that drove her into the field is how rewarding it is for her to work with the elderly, and she truly loves hearing their stories and being a part of their lives. Kim grew up in Syracuse, NE where she also raised her son and daughter. In her spare time, she coaches kickboxing and strength training, being with family and friends, enjoys being outside, swimming and sports.
Jen joined the Lancaster team in December of 2009, and in addition to her current role, has also worked with the social service, and business office departments. With a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource and Family Sciences from the University of Nebraska, she has worked in a variety of health care settings including home health and skilled nursing. Jen has lived in Lincoln her entire life, and is married with two children.
Chad Schlueter received his Occupational Therapy training in the United States Air Force. He has been a COTA for the past 26 years with the majority of that being in the Skilled Nursing Facility/Long Term Care setting. He also has experience in hospital, outpatient and forensic mental health. Chad joined the Lancaster team in February of 2018 and serves as the department Program Manager. Chad leads the therapy and rehabilitation services that include physical, occupational and speech therapies.
Wendy Miller returns to Lancaster with almost 30 years of nursing management. She has worked in a variety of settings including long term care, practice management for family practice and internal medicine, hospice and dialysis. Caring for the elderly has always been her top career choice, because she is able to build relationships with residents and hear their life stories. Every resident has a history, and she finds it very rewarding to be a part of their care giving family.
Jessica Wilcox brings to the Lancaster Rehab leadership team over 9 years of nurse management at Lancaster where she specialized in short-term clinical care. Jessica has been an instrumental leader, collaborating with acute care hospitals to facilitate successful transition of care. Jessica was honored by the Nebraska Health Care Association in 2015 with the Champion of Care Award and also received the Best in Nursing recognition in May of 2020 from the Lincoln Journal Star for her work leading the short-stay clinical care on Station 3.
Kallin joined the Lancaster team as the Life Enrichment Coordinator in September of 2015. She is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she earned her degree in Psychology. Kallin’s passion for the elderly led her to become part of the Social Services team in 2016 and in 2019 Kallin was then promoted to Social Services Director. Kallin is excited to work alongside a hardworking dedicated team to provide quality care to each of our residents. In her spare time Kallin teaches dance and spends time with family and friends.
Ken joined the Lancaster team in December of 2018. He returns to Lancaster with over 20 years in the maintenance field. He also brings many years of experience in the construction of new homes and remodeling. Ken loves to participate in many sports and loves the outdoors.
